Take me on an Adventure

by Leah   Apr 9, 2006

Grasp my hand in yours
and off of a cliff we'll fly
hoping that your Peter Pan
so that when I jump, I don't die.

In a meadow my heart lingers
and the rays of sun warm my cheek
and even in the heat of day
our relationship stays at its peak.

Binding fingers and binding souls
being together at last,
and even though I love you
it just feels so contrast.

You picked me the sweetest rose
a rose only my eyes could see
a rose without a single thorn
a rose named 'love'
that lives in me.

My salvation lays at the hands
of your mercy
for without you I cannot survive
and even if I was snow white
I would never be able to revive.

Take me on an adventure
take me far away
show me faeries and princesses
a land where we can stay.

Take me on an adventure
to a place like never land
show me the beaches and mermaids
so I can sink my feet in the sand.

Take me on an adventure
and whisper the words 'your my love'
and even if we die alone
we'll be together up above.

You are the missing piece
to my being
you are the missing piece to my brain,
and even if you were an ogre
I'd still kiss you in the rain.
