Our promise =(

I hate the promise we did today
we promised not to talk anymore
to try to move on
and close our door.
but how can I leave you behind?
How can I just take you out of my heart?
if we had promised before
to never be apart.
we both made it clear today
that we will deal with the pain alone
that we will get through each day
safe and strong.
but my heart is shattered
and the pain is strong
my eyes are filled with sadness
everything is just so wrong.
your filled with heartache
and im filled with pain
and just the thought that I have of you
more tears that I gain.
so now were left with nothing
just the simple thought of one another
and memories is all there is
to keep inside forever.
