A Moment Past

Lips are hushed as the world waits
For one glimpse of what must come.
A single shinning light is all it takes;
With that all the angels begin to hum,

To the beauty brought with each step.
Blindness to any who would stare,
Forces me to look away, I regret.
Beacuase the pain is more then I can bare.

However, the sight I shall guard
Against all those wishing to hurt.
Locked deep within my own heart
Until the day i return to the dirt.

Till that day I will not lose
The perfect picture you cast.
Through all this the right words I choose
Only to find you gone too fast...
