She Thinks

She Is Looking out the window
As she drifts off to sleep
Her heart enters her thoughts
As she begins to dream

-in her dream-

He walks to her and picks her up
They fly out the window
He finds a beautiful place to land
And he takes off his coat

She looks at him, into his eyes
Seeing her love so deep
She sits next to him
Holding him close, knowing she's asleep

She talks to him into the night
Until the rising sun
He picks her up and grabs his coat
Then flies to where it all begun

He sets her down onto her bed
kisses her then disappears
She looks to see where he has gone
But the wind outside is all she hears

-She wakes up-

Barely even sunrise
She sees foot prints on her floor
She stops to think about her dream
Or was the truth the night before
