Look at me
Do you see the pain?
Do you know what it's like...
when depression drives you insane?
Do you know what it feels like...
To cry out your eyes
Because life's too hurtful
And full of too many lies
Do you know how to put on an act
So the pain doesn't show
or put on a fake smile
so no one else has to know?
Do you ever look back
And remember your past
Back when you were happy
And pain didn't ever last?
Do you know what it's like
To want to end it all
To just grab that blade
And let the blood fall?
Do you know about any of this
Or do you even care?
Because if you did you wouldn't judge,
or sit there and stare!
***this past summer i tried to kill myself..... it's the worst thing i've ever done.....this poem is for all those people who have ever felt as i did when i had my problem with depression.......
