A little worse

by Alijah   Apr 10, 2006

A silent cry floats on the wind
As it whispers across the empty valley
Our love slowly thinned
Till it vanished without dally

What once had been
Is no longer
Another sin
I feel weaker, not stronger

A silent cry that carries my pain
As my shattered heart blows away
I welcome the feeling of being insane
No more rules must I obey

Meek and mild, I stand alone
In this empty valley, where once two stood
And now, the feeling that was once left unknown
Feels a little worse, than I thought it would
