All Because Of One Boy

This small round tear
Dropping from her eye
Landing on the paper
Right in front of her

Blurring the ink
Slurring the words
Mixing the emotions
Confusing the thoughts

How one little tear
Could do so much
How one precious boy
Could cause all this hurt

The pain is still there
The heart is still broken
The cuts are still fresh
Crying doesn't help

Emotions written down
Smudged with tears
Are the last thing she wrote
Because of this boy

How could she live
With a broken heart?
It doesn't matter anymore
She's gone
