Say what you mean!

I say, ' I love you
with all my energy and pride,
yet you push my feelings aside
and don't even consider to compromise.

I touch you
with all my passion and devotion,
yet you stomp on this true emotion.

I embrace every moment with you
with all my life and focus,
yet you disregard my heart
with all your strength and strife.

I speak words of honesty and trust
with all my heart and soul,
yet you devour it from the start
with all your emotional games.

And i find myself saying,
why does it have to be this way?'
Have i chosen my path?
Have i done my math?

Are these two hearts
made for each other?
Or do they just rot one another?
Because you don't appreciate
my ways or hear a word i say.

I no longer have to stay
if you truly feel this way.
