Even in Death

by RetroRavey   Apr 10, 2006

I will continue to feign my fears,
sacrifice all I can give
And if I die in his willing smile
Shed not one tear
For me.
I will keep on with this shallow lie
This darkness that I dare not hide,
And if the rain turns to crimson blood
Fear not that I am dead,
My dear.
I cannot, will not try to run
From this life3 that is my own,
Even in death I will cry on,
Locked away in my fiery tomb,
My love.
Even in death this pain resides,
The winning pleasures of my life,
And even with this hollow knife,
I will keep on dreaming,
Of you.
Kiss at last the brow of love.
Fly from me like an awful dove
And stain those alabaster wings red
With blood from your bleeding hand.
My darling.
If you cry one tear for me,
I will not, cannot be set free.
So die in his arms and wait for me,
Even in death suicide is not free,
For you.
