You walked away

by Rebecca CArnahan   Apr 10, 2006

You walked away

I cried
Trying to make you stay
But you kissed my cheek
And still walked away

I begged
For you to turn around
You kept walking
As my knees hit the ground

I hoped
You'd have a change of mind
But you didn't come back
Someone elseâ??s love you went to find

I slept
Trying to forget you
But you wre always in my dreams
There was nothing I could do

I dreamed
That you still loved me
But you denied it
And said we'd never be

I cut
To get rid of the pain
But it just hurt worse
Knowing we'd never be us again

I let go
Knowing I couldn't do it anymore
Because I knew you didn't love me
And I know thats for sure

Love is born, love is grown and love is died... unfortunately one who kills it, is hurt less than the other! I dont know what people looks for in a relation; there is some one who loves you, ready to die for you, ready to do everything to be with you.... At those times I remember the song "dont you want somebody to love" as performed by Jim Carrey:). Now I smile but this song really tells something: Dont you want somebody to love???
Great poem, I liked it. 5/5
