Real

by Katran   Feb 2, 2004

The rain beating down on my face
The stars hidden behind the clouds
My feet splashing in the mud
The thunder is the only sound

The coldness numbs my body
The water soaks into my skin
The chill air makes my breathing sharp
The slits on my arms begin to sting

The darkness surrounds me
Blinding from the world
The wind howls around me
The shines like a pearl

All of a sudden the rain stops
And I can feel again
The wind and thunder stop
And to ear I no longer strain

The clouds vanish from the night
And I can see the world
But the moon is still above me
Shining like a pearl

I no this isn't really a sad poem, but i didn't know what other category to put it in, so I'm sorry.
