Debating on Life

Walking through strands of light
wondering what the next step will be
One road happiness and comfort
the other, smiles never see

Debating on life
and what it really means
between the real reality
and what reality really seems

If its based on wants or needs
or love and hate or truth and lies
or the smiles you have
or all of your cries

Trying not to make a mistake
Asking for another chance
to not look past the big picture
and just take another glance

To hope you don't get hurt
and don't take it way too far
and hope to attempt to heal the wound
of that forever living scar

Because people you love change
and you'll get hurt time to time
but with pain there follows strength
and everything turns out fine

No, its not easy or fun
nor can you do it alone
but between all the memories
lessons learned are always shown

Step back, look around from different points of views
take a quick breather
and soon you'll find that when you don't dwell
things are 10 times easier.
