I see the light

Outstretching my fingers
into the light of unknown
waiting and wanting
to what has to be shown

the darkness now vanished
engulfed by white
my eyes start to wonder
into the ever ending light

i look back at the fading scene
my body covered in red
the people that surround me
and the tears they have now shed

i have to say sorry to you all
and that i shall no longer roam
nothing is going to take me away
for i have found my true home
