Don't

by Raydeen   Apr 11, 2006

Sometimes,
you're such a tease,
but don't expect anything from me,
I wont get on my knees and say please.

and promise me,
you aren't playing with my heart,
and I don't think you know,
but I liked you from the start.

and it's always like a slap to the face,
you love him,
and then you love her,
but how many of us know it's another random whim.

don't take my hand,
if you're already ready to let go,
if you still want to take my hand,
lets take it slow.

I don't want to rush,
spoil it from the beginning,
What have I been missing? show me,
leave me breathless with my head spinning.

don't let me trust you,
if you're already ready to let me down,
don't tell me you're going to make me smile,
if you're already ready to make me frown.

I want to make it work no matter how bad it hurts,
only take my hand,
if you're ready,
with no heart break planned.
