Troublesome Nightmares

by shannen   Apr 11, 2006

Each night I hope and pray,
That I'll get through another day,
Turn on the isolation of thoughts,
Wind down your fists from all the battles fought,
Closing my eyes as the sun finally sets,
On this endless battlefield full of regrets,
An hour passes by or maybe two,
To conclude these thoughts I leave in adieu,
A pitch black darkness no other comfort here,
Except the moonlight pillar silenty aware,
Upon my pillow it creeps higher,
As my heart flushes with pain of desire,
To hold you into my dreams I cannot,
But only bare the fact you also fought,
Together we waited,
and yes I hesitated,
But to not have you here,
Leave me with troublesome nightmares.
