If you saw him
Would you let your feeling show?
Or would you just pretend
That you let those feelings go.

If he asked you how you were,
Would you tell him you miss him more and more each day?
Or would you lie straight to his face?
And tell him your ok.

If he asked for you back,
What would you do?
Would you go running back to him?
And continue to let him hurt you.

If he did hurt you again,
Would you just close your eyes?
Pretend nothing was wrong.
Would you continue to believe his lies?

If he began to get violent,
Would you stay?
And learn to live with the pain.
Thinking he'll change his ways.
