Its hard to believe,
that i was head over heels in love,
cause when i look back now,
i see the faults i only knew how to ignore.

i knew you inside out,
or at least i tried,
but i never did realise,
how wrong you were for me.

for i need a guy,
who is willing to call me,
who will go anywhere jsut to see me,
who will call me back if i hang up on him.

i need a guy who will love me,
not use me discretly for his own wants and needs.

i guess you never really knew me,
but thats my fault i must admit,
i never let the true me shine through,
and eventually when i did,
you hated it!
you hated me!!

you couldnt possibly know how that feels,
for the one you love to want you to be different,
to want you to change....to suit him

we only headed down hill from there,
and eventually you were gone.

i smile,
now knowing what i never did,
that you just werent right for me,
that it wasnt meant to be.

i do not regret at all,
being with you,
for it is a lesson learned,
a mistake ill never repeat.

for all you girls out there...stay true to yourself, because you will soon realise that if someone doesnt love you for you its all fake.
