Nothing Ever Matterd

by Vacant Expressions   Apr 11, 2006

Shes braking again
Her fragile life shattered
And she miss's the time
When nothing ever matted

When her best friend
Was alcohol to down her sorrow
She didn't care for life
Today or tomorrow

When pain was her pleasure
And the razor her friend
When thats all she needed
To help her mend

Now, she runs circles in her head
Trying to sleep at night
Her thoughts race
As she gives up the fight

She's got no one left
No reason to belong
And she slowly slipping back
She's just not that strong

So she runs back to the alcohol
And again turns to the razor
She sits drunk and bleeding
Though it doesn't faze her

Shes broken again
Her whole life fell and shattered
And her mind wanders back
To a time when nothing ever matted
