Glued together box

by Amie   Apr 11, 2006

Piece by piece,
they tear the cloth.
White hair crawls,
between the threads.
The trickling,
of stars who fall.
Distract the damage,
of the new time.
They cry to us,
from down the row.
We scream at it,
for playing unfairly.
Where did all the needles go,
that dangled from the sun.
Yesterday was the same,
tomorrow will be gone,
They stole the lace,
from its shoe.
So nowhere,
it can run.
All the cracks,
are replaced with glue.
Cheers to they, we and it,
together we make and us.
Forever. we are trapped,
in this glued together box.
Because of the it,
we are secluded.
Slowly melting,
into something you can't explain.
