Touch of Death

by LadyPearl   Apr 11, 2006

Smeared across the lonely walls
My blood kisses all goodbye
Sighing lips draw apart once more
E're it sucks Life slowly dry

Shivering palms caress the ground
Ice escapes the dying veins
Frozen is the young saplings of Spring
Frigid and cold in all my pains

Midnight hair sweeps passerbies
Stung by my hatred sin
To stone, they fall to their grave
Locking away my hate within

Brown eyes of mine, pierce the sky
The sun flees away in fear
Clouds quiver and darkness comes
Shedding my crimson Tears

Death has become my eternal name
And to it, I serve willingly
My mind is a slave, a disgrace
The touch of death on me

Again I am thrown off in surprise by your ability to manipulate words and you skill at filling each letter with large drops of emotion and feeling. Your images always are a great aid to the beauty of your poetry, as the are again in this poem. You start was brilliant, with the comments about bloody kisses; it provided a good hook to the rest of your poem. Nice job love.
