Let Me Try To Explain..

When you need someone
I'll be there for you
when you fall down
I'll pick you up
baby, when you cry
I'll wipe your tears
no matter what happens
I'll be by your side

they say i act stupid
always waiting for you
but i love you
its true
no matter what happens from now
to the end of time
I'll be standing with you
through all of the mess

I'm the one you can lean on
the one who will always understand
who knows what you're thinking
and never judges your thoughts

you're the only one i love
you know it's true
I'll give you comfort
and listen to you
when things get rough
we'll make it through
as long as we have each other

i admire your perseverance
and how you never give up
the way you go for your dreams
and never look back

i love your smile
and the way you kiss
the way you look on rainy days
and smile for me when you are hurt

if i had a million words
i would never be able to describe
just how much i love you

so until the end
just know that my love
for you will be strong
and when you leave me each night
I'll be waiting for you

    I think this poem is really good...even though you can tell you're a "beginner", it's still very descriptive and heart-felt.

    I recommend that you try to add rhyme schemes to your poems..it helps them flow a lot better. I think you have talent and you can grow to be an inspiring writer. You've got to start somewhere and you're on the right track! Good job! 5/5

    *My only suggestion is to add an extra line to the last stanza.*

    ...try something like

    "so until the end just know
    that my love for you is strong
    and each night when you leave me
    I'll be waiting for you til dawn."

    or somethin like that..I dunno, jus tryin to help ya out a little!

    But keep doin what you're doin and work at bein one of the best!
