My Guardian Angel

Deep inside my thoughts i pray
To see you again, though who's to say
That wishes and dreams can really come true
But then again I believe, because I found you.

You helped me sing when I thought no more
You saw my light, and opened it's door.
I now shine, and it's all up to you
To keep me bright, through and through

I have my smile, though long ago
Tears and sorrow, that was all I know
Its all gone away to hide
And will never come back to shower me with lies

When I was lost you found the way
You showed me the beauty of night and day
When the moon comes up, do you see the stars shine?
When the sunrise captures your heart, do you think of mine?

Well that's a silly question, because I know you do
I know because you're my best friend, and I Love You
You are my friend, yes you are my savior
Lets just call you my guardian angel.

This one, like most of my other poems, I wrote straightfoward: without stopping or rarely pausing, if only to find a word that better fits. I just kept typing and typing as if it was a normal conversation and was second nature. It's about a friend of mine and he means a lot to me.
