I took to long and now it's too late
because now your taken, going out on a date.
I took too long just to ask you out
but now there is nothing I can do, nothing worth a bout.
I knew that I was taking so long
but i couldn't help it even though I knew it was wrong.
I tried to work up the courage to talk
but I got too scared everytime we walked.

I wish I could go back in time and fix the way I was
but its too late and its your choice to do what your heart does.

I hate myself for not asking you out when the time was right
