Broken Reverie

by Sara   Apr 12, 2006

Take me into your embrace as we dance in the dark. Whisper silence into my ear as your touch breaks my heart. Stare into my eyes as the tears flow. Take it all in so you will know.
Drop me from your embrace and let me fall. Kill me slowly while you watch it all. Don't touch my broken body that is shattered on the floor. Can't you see me pleading, begging for no more?
The dryness of your eyes tell me everything. Longing for the reverie it'll never be the same. You're stepping slowly on pieces of glass. Did you actually think this chicanery would last?
