Shawn, and Liz were teenage lovers. But all Shawn wanted was to get her under covers. He did anything to convince her he loved her, and would never leave.
With all his fake words a smile cracked on his face, because he made her believe.
And after awhile he didn't talk to her much.
Only when he wanted to kiss, and touch.
Shawn told his friend Erick how he was only using her.
And he didn't know how good of friends Liz, and Erick were.
At a party one night Erick stopped Liz from going upstairs with Shawn.
And told her how he was just a sex con.
Erick really loved Liz a lot.
But a chance to tell her was something he never got.
He asked her to go on a ride.
She said sure, and they went outside.
While they were driving down the road Erick was trying to think of how he was going to tell her how he felt.
How he loved her, and thought she was svelte.
But a tragic thing happened as the truck driven by a drunk came the opposite way down the one way street.
Erick was scared and reached across the seat.
Grabbed Liz's hand and looked into her frightened eyes.
What happened next wasn't much of a surprise.
When they slammed head on into the truck.
They were both stuck.
As they both lay there dying.
He looks over to see her crying.
He starts talking and telling her he's sorry over and over again.
And how drunk that guy had to have been.
But in his last words as his eyes were beginning to shut, before he dies he whispered, "Liz, I'm sorry, I really am, but I brought you on this ride to tell you I truly, and forever more love you."
As he lies there and hes gone, Liz grabs his hand before she too dies, and whispered, "Erick, I forever more will love you too."
