Some say to be a cowboy
you have to dress the part.
But really, cowboy to me
is what lies in your heart.

Cause I don't wear tight clothes
People look at me and say
You think you are a cowboy
but that will be the day.

In this day and age
People judge what they see
Weather its true or not
whatever the case may be.

My grandpa once told me
no matter what people do
to be true to myself.
Cause they haven't a clue.

So I'll live my life
not listening to the words.
Cause talk is just cheap
people actually think it hurts?
