LETTER TO GOD

God, I write you this letter
Praying for a sign my life will get better

I know I've made countless mistakes
I want things to be better, I'll do whatever it takes

God, I pray you have something better for me
Show me the way, Where do you want me to be

Before I go to bed, I raise my hands and pray
In hopes that tomorrow will be a better day

God, I look up into the sky calling your name
So sorry for the person I have became

I'm trying to hold on to the things I've got
Hate me for I am, Don't love me for who I'm not

God, Can you take me as I am now
I'll do anything you want, Just show me how

I'm asking for forgiveness one last time
I'll do whatever it takes, no mountain I wouldn't climb

God, Just tell me things will be okay
As I lift my hands, Begin to pray

Take me by the hand, guide me to the light
As these verses from the bible, I begin to recite
