The Perfect Girl

by Dark Elmo   Apr 13, 2006

Why can't I be her?
Laughing all the time.
Joking with her friends.
Not dieing on the inside.

A smile on her lips.
Humor in her eyes.
Not a care in the world.
Not heartbroken by guys.

The one with the perfect mask.
Who doesn't like it go.
Never dropped a single tear.
Where frowns never show.

Why can't I be you?
I ask the perfect girl.
In your eyes I see the answer,
As I hold the broken mirror.
