Lies

by starr dennis   Apr 13, 2006

You say your a friend, you say where family
All the lies you've told, all the rouge you've done.
I still stayed by your side
How can I just sit there, after I haired what
You really thought of me and still call you
a friend. Did you think I wouldn't know
Four years of friendship went by so fast.
There was some bad times and good times,
More bad then good but still I stayed around
To this day I don't see why.
Take a look in the moire tell me what you see
Can you see in that moire of yours?
Yes that is me walking away.
Now our friendship is over its gone and in the past
I don't need your friendship or your family
I have my own and that is all I need
Happier then I have ever been then when we where friends.
To live my life one day at a time
Just a little something I can do
Now that I am free of all your lies.
You say youre a friend you say where family
All the lies you've told, all the rouge you've done
Now just standing along.
