Race doesnt matter!

Its 2006, why cant people get over race
this world is becoming a huge disgrace
who cares if we have different colored skin
what really matters is whats within
why are people so stubborn these days
showing so much hatred n so many ways
yea im \"white\" whats the big deal? ma best friend is \"black\" n our friendship is real
people need to understand
friendship and love will eventually expand
forget what race others happen to be...
dont just go by what ur eyes can see
go by ur heart u wont regret it
otheres will follow and begin to transmit!!

ya i no this poem might be kinda corny but im just so sick of racial problems... race shouldnt matter
it doesnt matter if ur mexican, chinese, asian, black or white... we are all human .... never go by what a person looks like!!

    I liked the message you were trying to portray in this poem Kaci and I commend you highly for it. I couldnt agree with you more. In terms of writing I think you could have gone deeper with this, been more expressive and emotional on the topic really let loose about the way it gets to you and the way it should be. Also try constructing your sentences with correct english to help make your message clearer rather than using slang :o) Good write though :o)
