Purpose

by bigwarmhugs   Apr 13, 2006

The song calls out the dawn of day
The morning bird has its say
It greets the morning sun's warm kiss
At another day's long bliss

The breeze wafts softly through its sleeves
Dipping, swaying with the leaves
Rustling flowers from its arms
Listening to the waking alarms

The music of a fresh new start
The soft new colors of natures art
Each unique to this day
Individual in its own way

They watch as the clouds tumble
Listen to the loud strong rumble
Wishing they could hide away
Animals scamper all the rest stay

To ride out the storm
And not give in to the norm
But be strong in who they are
Being admired from afar

Another day passes by
Oh how time seems to fly
When you're a little bee
Flying through the garden free

Watching as the flowers grow
Blooming through high or low
Feeling the soft sweet breeze
Making its way through the trees

Its little song bubbles within
Cause it knows that life can't pin
It can't hold it to the ground
Cause its own purpose has been found.
