Fallen Angel

by Illusion   Apr 13, 2006

With poignant grace
She slowly walks away
Silently accepting the mortification
Knowing she'll die later today

There is a smile on her face
Yet if you look into her eyes
A penisive full of memories appears
A heart full of love denied

She slowly walks home
Like a shadow, she blends into the night
Her face pale and streaked with tears
She has finally given-up her long, hard fight

When she makes it to her front door
She silently creaks it open, leaning against the wall
She slowly makes it up the stairs
And down the cold, dark hall

She glances at the mirrow
Dissatisfied with the image that looks back
She touches every part of her face
Noting to herself what she lacks

Creeping into her room
She finds a place on the floor
Pulling her knife from underneath the carpet
Finally, she won't have to deal wuth life anymore

Beautiful crimson droplets
Form deep reflective puddles
Leaning aginst the wall
Quietly she huddles

When her body is finally found
Her parents discover big, black letters on the wall,
"Silently I tumbled,
You weren't there for me when I started to fall".

*Not my best..sorry*
