^^^ I hate leaving comments after him I never know what to say! He is such a sweetie I love him

Before your poem gets a comment from me let me just thank you for your kind words on my poem "where has the decency gone in the world?" It was so nice of you

Oh this poem Holly is so true for many teenagers not just in my high school but for teenagers all over..Drugs have gotten really bad these days..I agree with Endless Rapture you conveyed your message very well and actually my favortie part was the title..it was like "ohh I must read that!" I loved your last stanza as well!!!
    Great Stuff Holly! Great Stuff!
    Love always

Holly, this is amazing with an awesome message!

    "Unable to accept that
    there's no real escape
    drugs numb the pain
    but life they can't reshape"
^^^ Love this stanza, excellent wording. And the ending was powerful, simply perfect!

Good poem. great flow. it was easy to read and made sense. sometimes i try to read through some poems and you need a navigator to get you from beginning to end. you wonder where its going and when your finished reading it, it's like "huh"? i like plain speakin, so to speak.( no pun intended) anyway....great job. i like alot of your stuff.

Oh Holly, "Melissa and Her Magical Pen " is so sweet and unselfishly written! I can't begin to tell you what it means to me, seriously it made me tear up in a wonderful way.. What a pleasant surprise when I clicked on your name, thanks for the smile.. You really made my day!

Oh and sorry I couldn't comment on the correct poem. When I login on the love and friendship categories it signs me back out immediately.. Arggh

Holly this poem is amazing! i can definately relate to it, just knowing an addict. not the same drug but with drinking and my grandpa. he won't really ammit to having a problem so it always goes unfixed. it has horrible, stressful moments on the family when he's drinking though. such a great poem though, it's really strong and many can find ways to relate to it.

Most people that write as freely as you do dont get a good flow. I must say the flow was impeccable and the choice of words simple yet powerful. Very good poem about the subject and very catchy rhymes in some stanzas. I love when rhyming words complete eachother.
