The yelling just never stops.
Louder and louder.
I can`t take it.

"You're worthless."
"You're stupid."
Why must you remind me?
Making me feel like shit.
'm surprised I no longer cut.

I need a life to get away,
From this hell called a home.

The sound of your voice.
The touch of your kiss.
It's the only way I make it
Through each and everyday.

You tell me the opposite,
Of what my dad says to me.
Telling me:
"You're wonderful."
"You're not stupid.
"I love you"

Because in your eyes,
I'm incredible and you care.
But why can't I feel as,
Wonderful as you say I am?

Unless I'm around you,
I feel like I'm a nobody
But you make me feel like,
I at least mean something to you.

Even if it's only when,
I'm around you and only
In your eyes.
