A Small Gift

I could give you a flower,
but it would pale beside your beauty!

I could give you diamonds,
but your eyes sparkle even more!

I could give you a light to help
light your way,
but your brilliance out shines all!

I could give you a song,
but your voice is the only song I
want to hear!

I could give you my heart,
but its already yours!

All that I have left to give is the rest of my life!

So please accept this small gift,
and be my Wife!!!

    Aww that is soo cute and i love it send me some i want to tell my boyfriend how much i love him but everytime i try i cant seem to find the words to say!! i get buterflies in my stomach and i jumble my words together and i dont want anything to come out wrong

    I wrote this poem as a way to ask my girlfriend to marry me! I'll be popping the big question on 04-14-06. I'm taking her to the top of Arkansas tallest peak, Mt. Magazine. I would like for you to tell me what you think.
