They weren't normal hurting tears drops,
there was pain and hatred behind each one,
before i could say ill never do it again I'm sorry,
i realized exactly what damage i had done.
and sorry wouldn't cut it this time,
so you said save it for sumone who will care,
and you pushed me aside as you walked away,
and i stood staring, at were you once were.
i was drunk, but that wasn't an excuse,
and i sat down at the riverbank and cried,
and thought about who much i loved you,
and how it would have been easier if i had lied,
right in front off you, I'm so ashamed,
and you were there helping my drunken mate,
i guess skipping school that day was stupid,
and now everything i said was too late.
