Golden

by David Marshall   Apr 13, 2006

Is love worth while,
am I going the right way?
What makes me smile,
havoc or golden day.

I expected too much,
I wasn't being fair.
I asked for love,
but she didn't care.

I expected too much,
pains the price I pay.
I miss your embracing touch,
havoc or golden day.

Love is now my fear,
sorrow is now my fate.
Crying is all I hear,
gold soul is now too late.

You don't understand,
I wanted you to stay.
Life no longer grand,
havoc or golden day.

    Love is now my fear,
