Desert Nights

To all those I've loved

I've given all I have

By the time you read this

I'll be in heavens hand

I'll be weeping as I lay my head

But not for my hardship and strife

I cry for my friends who cared

But I cry not for this worthless life

I've given to them all I have

and tried to help so much

but I still have pain

yet I hide it even though it hurts too much

So don't cry over my worthless body

over something you dont know

just go on with your perfect life

and pretend you cried when I was lowered below

To all those I've met

and the few my words have touched

Stand beside me one last time

for I need you as the earth needs my flesh
