we use to play to have fun

In a second we were astronauts
Exploring space in a box
Cops and robbers was just a game
It was fun to be the robber
but now it's just a shame

No complicated relationships
Because girls had cooties
"Mom where do babies come from?"
"And what are boobies"

The playground was our kingdom
We defended against monsters and warlords
Garbage can lids were shields
and sticks were swords

No responsibility, exams and tests
No worries, drama, and stress
No drugs, pressure, or pimples
