A Letter From My Heart

Here's a letter
From my heart
To say that I love you
And I can't stand being apart

My heart whispers to me
It tells me I've lied
I told it I disagree
But it knows what I feel inside

'You can't lie to yourself' it says
And I guess its right
'Why bother
When all you do is cry at night'

Dearest boy
This is only a tiny part
Of what she truly feels
Says the heart

Ok! I say
My heart is not lying
Every time I think of you
I start crying

I'm ashamed know you know
What I truly feel
And I'm scared that you'll run away
With my heart that you'll steal

I don't know why I gave this to you
But my heart I can't doubt
It has taught me many lessons
Without one shout

So I hope you read this
Then at least you'll know
What I really feel
And that I love you so
