Lady Spring

by RSahanoor   Apr 14, 2006

My lady has two pink roses
Curved with rhythm upon her face,
That pause speech so superfluous
With kisses she drives to exchange.

I am adrift to aura of springs
First kiss that hums pretty lullaby
Like a teasing bee that stings
With stolen kiss for twinge to sigh.

She mocks me with the bliss
Of sunbeams that clasps a slave alone,
It's not derision, neither disdain, nor kiss
But a whisper of the chameleon.

She winks with her lips
Which packed with salty water,
I savor it with tiny sips
Yet it has befitted my thirst quencher.

Ay, she waters my mouth,
But starves my soul.
Drink me with her eyes
Prodigal foe so foul.
