goodbyes are always hard to say,
i never thought i would have to say it,
i have always hated this bit,
i never thought it would come to this day,
there is so much love for you in this world,
but i guess its your turn to go up there,
you've given all the love you had to share,
you may have died,
i know i cried,
but your still with us today,
you've just moved on,
the angels were cooing you until you were gone,
but you was very strong,
you fought against the cancer,
and was still as merry as can be,
at least now you can be free.
free from pain, free from cancer,
i know your up there watching us,
some people don't believe,
but not me,
you gave us laughter and happiness,
you gave us care and love,
i now understand your dead,
i know your not coming back,
but my dear Nan i love you,
and please carry on resting your head,
as i will be with you one day,
and i just don't want you to forget,
i love you and you will be in my heart forever.
