Depression

by stephenie   Apr 15, 2006

If I could hear depression
It would sound like fifty flying scratching snatching salamanders

If I could see depression
It would look like a deep dark scary sewering silo

If I could taste depression
It would taste like sour scrambled eggs soaked in steaming sweat

If I would smell depression
It would be the aroma of a dead decaying body

If I could touch depression
It would feel like a lonely dark swimming sea

Nice use of alliteration it makes the poem really catchy and I like your comparisons to what depression would be like if it were an object. An interesting perception, well done!
