Them

Im friends with her,
he's friends with you.
She likes you alot,
& he's nothing new.
She had her chance,
he broke my heart.
But neither of them,
will tear us apart.
I have a feeling,
we'll make it work.
We want to commit,
not make it hurt.
At times I have doubts,
and think its a game.
Im in this for love,
& not the pain.
So please just dont hurt me
like he did once before.
because my heart isnt your game,
& im not your score.

    ^^ i absolutley loved that stanza because a lot of people aren't even commited to their relationships and its great to see you want to be!!

    At times I have doubts,
    and think its a game.
    Im in this for love,
    & not the pain.
    ^^^ I also LOVED This stanza, something about it that makes me want to interuppt you and clap my hands!

    And the last stanza! WHAT A WAY TO END THE POEM! I defiantly enjoyed this write! It shows that even short poems can come across powerful!
