Eternal Death

by manic moments   Apr 15, 2006

"Do you want to die" he whispered
Leaning into me with his great weight
"The essence within you, I have disturbed.
The mind plays games, leaving but a clean sleight"

His words struck accord fear in me
Myths of his killings following suit
"No more time to think or flee.
Die at the sound of the pipers flute"

Collapsing upon the blood soaked ground
Heart beat slowing 'till it nears a stop
"The soul in your beautiful eyes has drowned
Like a doomed religion without its bishop.

Your skin is so cold as you drift away.
Murdered by my two hands of fury.
For forgetting me, hell you must pay.
Covering your secrets, like your body I bury"

With those words, he leaves my side
Covering his trails as he goes
"The love I once felt and tried to hide.
Leaves my body with the blood that now flows"

I whisper this while I slipped into darkness
Saying my hearts true keeper
But he killed me in such plane starkness
Jealousy kills all, even its speaker
