Soulful Eyes

His eyes are beautiful
So sweet and soulful
I love how the speak
The lashes sweeping his cheek

But when he cries in sorrow
His tears, deep down they borrow
Breaking my heart in two
There is nothing anyone can undo

His love shines in those eyes
While his angel beauty dies
My beautiful man is gone
Shedding flesh to the bone

His soulful eyes left staring
So innocent, beautiful and caring.
