Beautiful Endings

by manic moments   Apr 15, 2006

How good you are
At such beautiful endings
Nothing left near or far
Even the wind never sings

The wind dances with my clothes
Moving them to life
You never did keep your oaths
I will never be a wife

Tears slide down
And cover my face
All these secrets to be found
You are no longer someone safe

Close my eyes slowly
In the fading light of day
The bump in my stomach extends boldly
It says more then words could say

By your own hand did this happen
No affair or one-night stands
The arrival already so dampen
By the slaps from your hands

Beating me will do no good
I already want to die
But for this baby I decided I should
Give life a try, before I go to fly

This baby is all I want
Is all I need to complete me
The delivery comes quickly to daunt
I wish so much for this baby to be

Don't take this from me, please
You have already disengaged yourself
My heart you will never seize
These things I keep to myself

One, two hearts beat
I smile at this simple pleasure
Shading from the heat
The happiness I feel, no one can measure

Just go away
And leave this baby for me
Nothing you say can make me sway
Just go ahead and flee
