Today I ran away
But not the way you think
I ran away from crying
I ran away from being dead
I ran away from misery
I ran away from pain
I ran away from everything
I ran away from me
I ran away from reality
I hid in a shadow
But lightning searched me out
I ran for my life
No where to go
This was a new place
A place I did not know
I walked around
The trees stared me down;
a forest with a face
I tripped, fell to the ground
Then I finally realized; finally found
This was not a good place
I stood up, then fell
I fell back to hell
Back to crying
Back to being dead
Back to misery
Back to pain
Back to everything
Back to me
Back to reality
Demons covered me from head to toes
I laid on the ground
i felt so low
This was a place that I did know
I was back to reality
