Cryin Eyes

I stumble as I begin to type
As a tear rolls down my cheek
I'm still not sure what to type
A peace of mind is all I seek

I don't want to try anymore
Love is giving up on me
I NEVER win when it comes to it
Now my tears are too thick to see

Forgive me for being human
But I feel almost betrayed
Its like you never really loved me
Its like I'm starting to fade

Yeah, I know, How could I?
How could those be the words I pick?
Just think, if you really ever loved me....
Then you wouldn't have given up on me so quick

I know my words may surprise you
But I'm sick of keeping this all in
God, if you'd just open up your eyes
You'd see my heart was already yours to win!!

I don't understand you at all anymore
"You're the love of my life" you told me
Well last time I checked those only happen once
Guess you decided to forget about me

I hope you're happy with her
She's a great person, honestly
I guess it just sucks on my part
Because you chose her.... not me

I don't know why I listened
When you said that you loved me
Because obviously you don't
I'm hurt... why can't you see?

These tears I cry are for you
I'm crying, I'm not tough
I can barely see the screen now
My heart has taken enough

I made a huge mistake
I made you my everything
But now you're gone and guess what?
Now I'm left with nothing

If you're really quiet
You can hear that sound
Its the sound of my heart breaking
Shattering as it hits the ground

There's nothing you can do
There's nothing you can say
Not like it really matters
You've already broken my heart anyway

I cry as I end this poem
You broke my heart today
I Loved You With All My Heart
But You Chose To Walk Away
