I went for a walk in the park
I ended up walking well after dark
As the sun set through the trees
The splendor set my mind at ease
I thought of things like true love
The type meant form God above
Right then I noticed a falling star
That just like me fell way to far
As it vanished dead into the night
I thought what a lonely sight
Then at once it occurred to me
Perhaps that star was lucky
For no longer was it stretched in the sky
For an instant that star did fly
And as through the sky it went swish
Like me millions of people made a wish
And most of them don't you know it is true
Wished for love like you know how
If it is Gods wish to be
I wish my love for you and me
